Sample Pricing and Payments

All international sample quotes and payments are in US dollars (USD). Review the current quote and the Creem checkout before paying. This guide does not publish fixed sample prices or convert old domestic prices into USD.

Current recruitment availability

International sample tasks recruit real participants through Prolific after successful payment and provider launch. Availability and completion times depend on the selected audience and study. Check the task status to follow progress.

You can also share your survey with your own participants.

What determines a quote?

For a standard survey, the quote may include question count, target sample size, eligible audience attributes, screening conditions, quotas, and tracking-wave settings. Available options depend on the task.

For an AI interview, the quote may include estimated duration, interview mode, sample attributes, and screening. Use the displayed quote for the current task; survey and interview quotes are not interchangeable.

Review the total, currency, sample count, and any breakdown before checkout. Changing the survey or targeting can change the quote. Plan prices and entitlements are described in Billing and Subscriptions.

USD quote calculation

Prolific costs remain in GBP and are converted at 1 GBP = 1.4 USD. The base service price uses a 30% gross margin: converted cost divided by 0.70. Video interviews multiply the base service price by 1.2. Country-tag charges offset the base service fee under the applicable quote rules. Question and audience-tag fees use the current international USD price catalog. Review the rounded USD total shown for your task before payment.

Pay through Creem

  1. Prepare the task and review its USD quote.
  2. Confirm the Prolific audience, study requirements, and recruitment options.
  3. Continue to the secure Creem checkout when payment is available for your account.
  4. Review the product, total, and payment method before confirming.
  5. Return to WeJot and check the order status.

Sample procurement is a one-time payment, not a recurring membership subscription. A payment confirmation does not mean recruitment has started. If checkout is unavailable, contact support rather than attempting to pay through another channel.

Quotas and multi-wave budgets

A quota bucket subtotal is its target headcount multiplied by the quoted bucket unit price. Totals use the current quote; this documentation does not set bucket prices, screening surcharges, or scarcity multipliers.

For tracking studies, use only options supported by the selected recruitment channel. Prolific launch does not imply support for every multi-wave or reminder control. Review which waves the quote includes before paying.

Refunds and receipts

Contact WeJot support with your order number for a refund request. Creem refunds are initiated by the merchant through Creem, and WeJot updates the relevant records after confirmation. Submitting a request or canceling a task is not confirmation that money has been returned.

There is no fixed 48-hour refund promise. Processing and arrival times depend on the payment provider and payment method. A partial refund does not automatically cancel an entire subscription or determine how a multi-task order should be divided.

Use your Creem receipt or Account → Manage Creem billing for available billing documents. See Billing and Subscriptions for subscription-specific management and Apple purchases.
